Serb forces stand on alert 21 February in the village of Studencane near Suva Reka, in southern Kosovo, one day after the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) retreated from the town after police fired mortars and other weapons. Inhabitants fled the village, taking refuge in nearby communities while the security forces moved on.
