On Tuesday (08November2022) American actor and director Sean Penn visited Ukraine for the 3rd time, meeting President Zelensky. The star brought one of his two Best Actor Oscars (won for Mystic River in 2004 and Milk in 2009) with him and presented it to the President. The award will stay in Kyiv until Ukraine declares victory in its war. 20.08.2026, Pula - Volodymyr Zhuravlov je ukrajinski državljanin i profesionalni ronilac koji je uhićen jučer u Puli, pod sumnjom da je sudjelovao u sabotaži plinovoda Sjeverni tok 2022. godine. Europski nalog za njegovo uhićenje izdalo je Njemačko savezno tužiteljstvo tereteći ga za izazivanje eksplozija, protuustavnu sabotažu i uništavanje infrastrukture. Njemački istražitelji sumnjiče Zhuravlova da je bio dio tima ronioca koji su u rujnu 2022. godine postavili eksploziv na plinovode Sjeverni tok 1 i 2 u Baltičkom moru, blizu danskog otoka Bornholma. Za prijevoz i operaciju navodno je korištena unajmljena jedrilica. Zhuravlov je krajem 2025. godine bio uhićen u Poljskoj. Međutim, poljski je sud je odbio njegovu ekstradiciju Njemačkoj, sve je podržao Doland Tusk izjavivši da izručenje nije u nacionalnom interesu Poljske te da plinovode uopće nije trebalo graditi. S obzirom na to da države članice EU-a izravno rješavaju europske naloge za uhićenje, slučaj je trenutačno pred sudom u Puli koji provodi postupak verifikacije identiteta i odlučuje o njegovu izručenju Njemačkoj Photo: Srecko Niketic/PIXSELL
