Serbian riot police clashes with anti-government protesters in Belgrade on August 13, 2025. Rallies are taking place simultaneously across the Balkan country, with people gathering in several locations in the capital, Belgrade, as well as in many cities and towns, with heightened tensions in several locations.
The rallies come after a night of violent clashes in towns and cities on Tuesday, when large groups of masked men, some wielding batons, confronted anti-graft demonstrators outside the ruling party offices.
